Our Family Winery in the Heart of Languedoc
Nestled in the hills of Viranel near Saint-Chinian, our vines flourish under the Languedoc sun, surrounded by garrigue and olive trees.
For generations, tradition and modernity have guided our approach to vine growing. On our 40-hectare family estate, we have always practiced sustainable viticulture to preserve the quality and longevity of our terroir.
Our estate has been passed down from generation to generation since 1551. The current winery building, constructed in 1911, features a Bacchic fresco—a tribute to the festive spirit of winemaking and the deep connection between our family and the vine.
Today, Domaine Viranel produces red, rosé, and white wines, all made with respect for nature. Our vineyard is certified HVE (High Environmental Value), a reflection of our commitment to protecting the environment and conserving natural resources.
